Learning About Work

At afternoon tea time Sally notices a group of workers clocking on to start work. She asks Gail why they are starting work so late.

Gail explains to Sally that these people work in the warehouse. She tells Sally that people in the warehouse work either a day shift (7.00 am to 3.00 pm) or an evening shift (3.00 pm to 11.00 pm).

Sally realises that not only do workers in the factory work in different places and do different jobs, they also work at different times of the day.
