When Sally gets home she talks to her parents about her day and what she has found out from the workers at Sparky Shoes. She tells them she is interested in finding a job working with food and that Mandy in Personnel has offered to help her find out more information.

Sally's mum is pleased. She thinks that having a job will be a good thing for Sally. Sally's dad is also pleased but he's a bit concerned too. He tells Sally that work won't be like going to TAFE. At work you will have to follow rules and be responsible. Sally wonders exactly what he means.

In this chapter Sally will discover what makes a good worker and a good boss.

You will need to help her out sometimes.
